Cutting out the jargon, as an ACSP in the UK, our job is to help Companies House make sure that the people running companies are real, and their business dealings are above board. We are what you might call a gatekeeper for corporate honesty. We are authorised to help clients register companies and verify their identities.
ACSP stands for Authorised Corporate Service Provider. It’s part of a big clean-up called the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act that aims to deter questionable companies from being set up and/or maintained in the UK.
From 2026, only ACSPs may file company incorporations and/or verify directors and PSCs (people with significant control) on behalf of clients.
